China will continue to increase import taxes on the products produced by the US in reaction to US tariffs on Chinese Products. On 8th August, China’s Ministry of Commerce released the second list of products on which import taxes will be increased by 25% from 23rd August 2018 by Chinese government.
In the list, there are four items related to the paper industry:
HS code: 47071000, unbleached waste kraft paper and paperboard, unbleached waste corrugated paper and paperboard
HS code: 47072000, bleached waste woodfree paper and paperboard
HS code: 47073000, waste mechanical paper and paperboard
HS code: 47079000, unsorted recycled paper and paperboard
