Polish cardboard and paper packaging maker PPU Optima has unveiled plans to invest some PLN 6 million (€1.4 million) to build a new production facility.
Under the plan, the new factory will be fitted with a surface of about 4,500 square metres, according to the information obtained by local news site Propertynews.pl.
The manufacturer plans to construct its facility in the Hajnówka sub-zone of the Suwalki special economic zone (SSSE), in Poland’s north-eastern part. Locating the plant in a special economic zone will provide PPU Optima with preferential tax treatment for its project.
