Sappi shelves plans to expand pulp production at the Gratkorn mill

Sappi has postponed plans to increase the pulp capacity of its Gratkorn mill. Instead, the company will invest in a boiler upgrade at the site.

The company announced it would rebuild the boiler 11 with the goal of discontinuing the use of coal as an energy source. Instead, the boiler will use several sustainable and renewable fuels.
