Valmet will acquire Poland’s tissue, paper, and board machinery and service provider PMP group. A corresponding agreement was signed today, and the completion of the transaction is expected on 1 October at the earliest, according to Valmet.
PMP employs 650 people in Poland, Italy, China, and the US, and had sales of approximately €70m in 2019. Valmet put the enterprise value of the deal at €64m, “plus a conditional and capped earn-out component.”
