China’s Vinda International Holdings has fired up two 30,000 tonne/yr tissue machines at its mill in Xiaogan city, Hubei province.
Provided by Italian supplier Toscotec, the pair churned out their first sheets of paper on Monday.
With more than a dozen tissue PMs already operating there, the Xiaogan plant’s combined tissue capacity has now increased to 240,000 tonnes/yr.
The latest start-ups have boosted the company’s total tissue capacity to around 1.22 million tonnes/yr.
Vinda is building another two 30,000 tonne/yr tissue units at the Xiaogan mill, with start-ups scheduled for early 2019.
